A visual commentary and brand visualization for anti-anxiety medication, guided by Paul Sahre, reflects my personal journey of overcoming my initial aversion to taking Prozac. I take on a confident, playful, and vibrant approach to anti-anxiety medication with a mission to break down the stigma surrounding mental illness as a taboo subject in society.
The project started as just a daily routine of taking selfies of me and my Prozac everyday. Over time, I noticed a consistent expression in each selfie which was a playful and lighthearted tone, highlighting the normalcy of taking medication. My initial disdain of taking prozac transformed into a profound appreciation through this project, where turning a hate ritual into a love ritual.
