A Colombian fast food chain with 6 NYC locations established since 2005 has over 40 unique empanada flavors, paying tribute to diverse cultural backgrounds beyond their own such as Greek, Polish and Cuban. It continues to captivate New Yorkers with its bold and vibrant appeal.
My rebrand approach focuses on creating a playful, iconic and clarified way customers can interact with the menu and restaurant. I found that the most iconic visual experience of the place is their simple paper bag packaging, where I chose a similar sans serif GT Eesti, a color pallette inspired by the Colombian flag and shapes of the empanadas.
